I’m overwhelmed by the events The Designers Collaborative held at the High Point Furniture Market this past week, which celebrated The Designers Collaborative’s 10 Year Anniversary!
TDC’s success has gone on quietly over the years. It’s been amazing to celebrate with so many in the industry at multiple venues. We had a fabulous party at Massoud Furniture, Chair massage and breakfast with IDS, an Insiders Tour at Currey and Company, Networking Bingo at Sarreid Ltd. in conjunction with TDC and WithIt, plus I presented a few educational programs at Universal Furniture and the AndMore seminar space.
It’s hard to put into words what it means to reach the milestone of a decade in business. The Designers Collaborative has grown and changed organically over these past ten years. I’m a proud business mom of this brian child of mine. We had doubters and even haters, which only pushed me further. We succeeded despite any pushback because interior designers needed a bridge to manufacturers.
You would think I could kick back and relax a little after the whirlwind of the High Point Furniture Market, but no, I am knee-deep in a huge undertaking of creating an entirely new website that will replace the Google Drive that TDC currently uses. This new website will be a huge step up for our members. It’s going to make their sourcing faster and easier and even prettier, which matters to interior designers. Nicole and her team from Glory and Brand are working to create this hub where all things TDC will live. I’m so excited for our predicted launch in late November 2026.
This new hub will not only have a searchable database with plenty of filters, it will also house TDC educational platform and our incredible community. Having one place for everything is going to be an efficient pleasure to work with. I can’t wait!
I better get back to it so our launch date stays on target. Stay tuned for updates.
